Mindfulness Groups at Rainbows

If you can't make it to a group here, but would like to take some time to meditate, then check out

'The Rainbows Guide to Meditation'

for easy, 5-minute meditations

you can do at home.

Joining us on a 5-week, 'Don't Panic!' mindfulness group at Rainbows will give you the opportunity to practise both mindfulness and relaxation on a regular basis.

 

If you would like to:

 

  • find out more about mindfulness and how it can help you

  • learn how to use mindfulness in everyday and 'panic' situations

  • learn how to lower your stress levels, blood pressure and heart rate

  • take control of your life instead of allowing life to control you

  • connect with people in the same situation as you

 

then why not come along and join us?

 

The Don't Panic! course was specifically created for people who suffer from stress, anxiety and panic attacks. Groups/classes are run from home, in a cosy and welcoming environment and group numbers are kept small to encourage a friendly and informal feel.

 

The course will include meditation, discussion, information and more. There's no need for you to know anything about mindfulness or meditation before you join us, as everything is organised to make things as stress-free and easy to do as possible.

 

Groups run from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm (on a Wednesday evening) for five consecutive weeks. Refreshments are provided at break-time and there will be hand-outs each week to give you an overview of what we've done.

'Don't Panic!' mindfulness groups and classes are held at Rainbows in Beverley.

 

If you are suffering from stress, anxiety, or panic attacks, then  this group could be just what you need.

"I'd really like to thank you and the rest of the group. From walking in on that first night to how I feel now, I really do feel like I've made a lot of progress.

 

I'm still a work in progress, but with the techniques I've learned from you I feel like they will really help.

 

Hopefully, I'll see you all again in another group."

The fee for a five-week mindfulness group is currently £35 (payable on the first night of the course) for however many sessions you are able to attend

The next Don't Panic! course starts on Wednesday 4 July.

 

It will run from

6.30 to 8.30 pm,

for five weeks.
