Travelogue #5 Conwy
Updated: Aug 14, 2020
It's bright and beautiful day here in Wales today. Yesterday was really hot so we took the open-topped bus out to Conwy. A lovely spot. I've been a couple of times before but back in the 70's was the last time. It's still as lovely as ever with towering castle and quayside. We managed to find a little 16th century tea house to stop for lunch in which was beautiful, and filled any gaps with the most amazing local ice cream, then back here for dinner. Piggy all round, I'd say, but then what are holidays for if not for indulging a little?

This morning we set off to explore the beautiful Snowdonia mountains and have a stop at Betws-y-Coed and Llanberris along the way. Sounds fabulous to me! Will let you know how we get on...
